The Lorry Mounted Crane / Loader HIAB course will train the course candidate to carry out inspections of the lorry, set up the lorry and use slinging equipment and attachments to work requirements.

The course also provides the trainee with knowledge of hydraulic and crane operations as well as limitations due to stability of the vehicle.

Area hazards, stability and safe working loads and rated capacity

Pre-start check – PTO systems

Overload indicators – Stowing of Stabiliser legs

Safe use of controls & lifting techniques
